- Self-serve trial keys — Instant via
POST /api/keys/trial. 1,000 calls / 60 req·min burst / nudge at 900.
- Two-level cache — L1 in-memory (45 s) + L2 Upstash Redis. Cold p50 511 ms, cached p50 241 ms.
- RPC failover — 2 500 ms timeout + retry across 2 RPC nodes; 503 on full outage.
- Env hardening —
env() sanitizer strips quotes / whitespace from all env vars.
